CAMP PROGRAM INFO: WHAT YOUR “GROM” WILL LEARN AT HO DADDY O’S SURF CAMP
Ho Daddy O’s Surf and Sport camps are week long summer camps for kids to learn the basics of surfing, wave riding, stand up paddle boarding, and traditional paddle boarding, combined with introductory lessons on surf terminology, ocean safety and awareness, and wave and weather predicting. Ho Daddy O’s provides a fun atmosphere designed to be fitness-oriented and quality supervised. We complement our instruction with games and education. Most importantly we teach a love and respect for the ocean and beach culture. We keep a low student to teacher ratio and provide personalized onsite coaching to nurture the individual needs of your young surfer.

Top quality boards – both stand ups (SUP) and surfing – will be provided for free. We rank#1 with our approach. This is no ordinary surf camp. We provide a complete “water girl/water boy” experience with a variety of instruction and water experiences. No other school encompasses the coolness, quality and variety of participation than Ho Daddy O’s Surf and Sport Camp! Fitness and teaching ocean sports with safety is our goal.

CAMP FACILITIES: We house clients in the condos on the upper floors, and provide counseling / fitness training in our dedicated facilities on the lower floors. There is a salt water pool on site, and we are directly across the street from the Gulf Coast Beach.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our team specializes in helping clients lose weight and keep it off. Our trainers are certified, the food is delicious, the activities are adventurous and the exercise routines are constantly changing to keep things interesting. And our Christian bible-based counseling sessions will help you overcome the factors that caused you to need our expertise in the first place!

CAMP FACILITIES: Hard-wood sprung floors covered with Marley (that protect dancers' joints through training), wall length mirrors and ballet Barres give our two classrooms the professional space needed to properly build dancers. Lobby space provides free Wifi.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp. All leadership campers will receive training about the programs we offer, how to interact with children, and the various roles of staff required for a residential camp. 80 Community Service hours are awarded for the two weeks of volunteer service to the camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CHESS: The main objective of this program is the use of chess playing as a tool to improve your child’s: self confidence, imagination, concentration and intuition, logical and critical thinking, and reasoning skills.

Each student has the use of a chess book as we work together. We do wall board activities and students play at the giant board outside where they get to be the knight queen or king!

At the end of the summer each student gets to take home their own chess board made of wood with the pieces made of clay!

CAMP FACILITIES: Our facility is a 2,100 sq. feet quality, modern martial arts training center. The floors are padded matting. We have separate men's and women's restrooms and locker rooms available. Weekly field trips are scheduled to several different public venues in the area utilizing our passenger-sized transportation system.

Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Camp Live Oak allows your child to explore the world around them here in South Florida, enjoying the many aspects of our beautiful environment! Each Camp Live Oak session and week is centered around a theme, with activities and programs built around that theme. Understanding the local natural environment and developing a respect and stewardship for that environment is vital to our program. The integration of science and art into each week allows for creativity and enthusiasm for learning and doing.

Campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, science, kayaking, arts and crafts, sports, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding and archery every week that they are at camp, with different activities rotating on various days. CAMP FACILITIES: We have a 50' round pen to start off beginners, a medium and a large enclosed arena with barrels and jumps for more advanced riding. In the large stableyard, we have lot's of cross ties so that all horses are crosstied to be groomed and tacked. There are several mounting blocks/steps to make it easier to get on the horses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We usually have pre-vet and animal science students from UF and provide training for volunteers. We like to maintain a high counsellor-to-camper ratio.

Our instructor is the program director and the farm owner/manager is support staff and volunteer coordinator.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): On Friday, family is invited to a "horse show," in which campers show friends and family the skills they've learned. It will include a mounted relay race, an obstacle/agility challenge and perhaps surprise presentations.

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. 1) Youth Academy - Designed for boys and girls ages 6-10. Fun, exciting and engaging activities are all part of the week. Throughout the week, players will be put in a competitive environment that will bring out their very best. 4) College Prep Academy - Our goal is to provide an incredible environment where serious soccer players will be exposed to the highest level of instruction in anticipation of playing at the highest level possible. High Performance Seminars will be led by trusted experts in their field and will include: Sports Nutrition, Soccer Specific Conditioning, ACT/SAT Preparation and Sport Psychology. CAMP FACILITIES: Freedom is an authentic replica of a nineteenth century blockade-runner. She is a double masted, gaff-rigged, topsail schooner. Naval architect Merritt Walters and his marine construction company, Rover Marine, Inc., designed and built Freedom, the first of his many Rover schooners, in 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Schooner Freedom is built of steel with aluminum masts and spars. The Freedom’s sparred length is 76 feet while her length on deck is 64 feet. Freedom’s beam is a 15 feet 4 inches and her draft is a little less than 6 feet. Her mast height is 62 feet and she carries a total sail area of 2400 feet. She has bunks for 20 overnight passengers, 2 captains, and 4 crew. She has a complete galley, salon, and head. She carries all the appropriate safety and life saving gear, which, along with the crew and vessel, is inspected and licensed by the United States Coast Guard on an annual basis.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This upcoming summer we are proud to announce that we will be offering 2 one week-long sailing camps. Sailors will be placed in the week that corresponds with the grade they will be entering. The sailing camp introduces teens to life aboard a classic schooner while sailing the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia coast.

Campers will come aboard and take over! We will have a blast sailing, fishing, swimming, exploring barrier islands, kayaking, and making memories to last a lifetime. Parents will be kept updated on their sailors location and fun by frequent blog posts and a closed Facebook group, updated at least twice daily.

Nothing gives a sailor more joy than knowing they can confidently take the helm or set a sail on a tall ship. Our goal is to instill in our sailors a respect for the ocean, a love for the traditions of tall ship sailing, and, more than anything, to experience the sheer joy of a fresh breeze in the sails, the glory of a starry night at anchorage, and the bonding that takes place between a crew at sea.

Our captains are all 100 tons Masters, licensed by the United States Coast Guard, with certifications in sailing, as well as CPR and First Aid. Our captains and crew are all subject to pre-employment and random alcohol and drug tests, monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard. Our captains and crew combine for a total of over 50 years of traditional tall ship sailing experience.

The cost of the 1 week camp is $1350 per camper and includes all meals and camp t-shirts. A 50% deposit is due upon acceptance to the camp with the balance due one month before departure.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Unbeatables is the only Life Skills Training and Multi sports summer program in USA, created especially for children ages 5 to 14. We have a perfect combination between sports and fun activities with education in the 6 most important areas of the children's life: fitness and nutrition, social environment, family life, school success, interest exploration and emotional life. Our campers end their summer well equipped with : 1) effective tools to manage the most common situations that they may confront at their age 2) instruction and practice in the most popular and likable sports and 3) Having had lots of fun doing the most innovative camp activities.

We have an impeccable trajectory of 12 years, and on 2013 we were awarded as the Educational Program of the Year by the Minority Chamber of Commerce of USA.

Our staff members are selected through carefully handled interviews in where we meet with the potential staff member and get to know them as an individual. Our qualifications for members differ depending on the job positions. Supervisors, Counselors, and Volunteers each have their own list of qualifications they must fulfill. In order to be part of our camp, all our staff goes through National recognized certifications, second-degree background checks and a very comprehensive training.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have the only Life Skills Training in USA especially created for children 5 to 14 years old. We offer leadership and public speaking training to the group of age of 12 to 14 and the volunteers that work at the camp.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): As a part of our Unique Life Skills Training Camp Program, on weekly basis, we send parents information for them to continue reinforcing at home the information we offer to the children at the camp.

Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Many years ago, we were the first company serving young adults to require that all leaders have a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) medical certification. WFR training is far more advanced than standard first aid or wilderness first aid. In addition to this certification, we carry extensive first aid kits on all of our programs that include antibiotics and epinephrine. Contents, protocols, and standing orders are reviewed and updated every year by our Medical Director who is an MD.

Since our inception, RLT has been on the cutting edge of technological advances in communication. We began carrying Iridium satellite phones on all of our programs as soon as they were available. Today we continue to carry the latest in emergency communication systems. According to geographic location, programs are equipped with satellite phones, ground-to-air radios, and/or cellular phones providing the possibility of 24-hour access to medical help in case of emergency.

Travel domestically and/or internationally with a group of high-school and/or middle-school students, monitoring and facilitating community service, language/cultural immersion, and/or wilderness adventure trips

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a degree. Equivalent experience working with teenagers in related field will be considered if not currently enrolled in school
• Experience Previous program leader experience working with and or teaching young people age ranging in age between 12-19. Knowledge of and experience with group dynamics, teaching or facilitating groups, supervision of meal planning, food preparation and cooking, managing logistics. Ability to teach program specific skills, environmental awareness, and related scientific, cultural, and historical knowledge pertaining to the regions through which you will travel and their relationship to each other.
• Strong Physical Condition
• Current CPR for the professional rescuer
• Current Wilderness First Responder, WEMT or EMT certification
• Current Red Cross lifeguard or Swiftwater rescue certifications preferred but not mandatory

• For Adventure Programs: Knowledge of three or more wilderness travel methods. Whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, international trekking, biking, backpacking, technical rock or ice climbing and mountaineering. Mandatory requirements for adventure trips include: the ability to lead groups of students on backpacking trips of three to eight days, ability to comfortably lead through remote wilderness areas. This includes, but is not limited to, backpacking preparations, backcountry travel, route finding, campsite selection, equipment maintenance, Leave No Trace camping techniques in desert and alpine terrain and proper protocol in dense bear country.

All leaders must possess the ability to make prudent decisions in adverse conditions. Specific Responsibilities/Job Description
1. Plan, coordinate and execute daily activities and trip logistics
2. Monitor co-instructor and participant assignments for the day
3. Monitor groups and supervise co-instructors' responsibilities
4. Act as a positive role model for participants
5. Responsible for the relationships with general public, people of the land, and subcontractors
6. Monitor ongoing safety and provide education for co-instructor and participants
7. Supervise the health and safety of the participants and environment
8. Together with co-instructor and participant, plan and execute the evening program
9. Identify and address inappropriate behavior with participant or with other co-instructor, for actions that put health and safety of a participant at risk
10. Together with co-instructor, plan and implement evening program as needed
11. Management of financials and accounting including monitoring of expenditures, record keeping, advances, bookkeeping and end of trip summary of information
12. Management of gear, vehicles, inventory, storage, documentation and end of trip summary information
13. Evaluate co-instructor and perform reviews and summer end evaluations
14. Evaluate program and current season and make suggestions for following season

CAMP FACILITIES: Large Modern Equestrian Facility on the Econ River next to the new 275 acre Econ Sandhill state preserve. We have secure parking, 24 Hour Digital monitored surveillance cameras, and Huge Air Conditioned Bunkhouse for Kids to Play and Cool off in 25' Pool and Deck, Bounce Houes Water Slides and constant interaction with the Horses, Lambs, Mini Goats, Bunnies, Chickens, Mini Horses, etc.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Children Will Arrive at 9am and Ride in the Mornings while it is Cool, Riding, Tacking Up, Equine Education, Feeding, Grooming, "Mucking" and General Horse Care. We have a Large Air Conditioned "Bunk House for Arts and Crafts for the Afternoons, with a 25' Above Ground Pool (Only 4' Deep) with constant Supervision, Bounce House with Water Slide for the Kids to Cool off in on the Hot Summer Days. Parents will provide a Healthy Lunch for the Kids to Bring M-Thurs (Refrigerator, Microwave, Pepsi & Propel Machine $1). We will have Party Fridays for Horse Show with Pizza (Cheese & Capri Suns and Water and Fresh Fruit on Friday) All Safety Equipment Provided. Private Bathrooms. We also Offer Music Lessons for Guitar, Electric, Bass, Acoustic, Piano, Voice and Drums for additional fee. Fee either 1x or 2x per week. Camp Ends at 5pm (NOT 2 like other Camps) so you can pick up after work.
