CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Unbeatables is the only Life Skills Training and Multi sports summer program in USA, created especially for children ages 5 to 14. We have a perfect combination between sports and fun activities with education in the 6 most important areas of the children's life: fitness and nutrition, social environment, family life, school success, interest exploration and emotional life. Our campers end their summer well equipped with : 1) effective tools to manage the most common situations that they may confront at their age 2) instruction and practice in the most popular and likable sports and 3) Having had lots of fun doing the most innovative camp activities.

We have an impeccable trajectory of 12 years, and on 2013 we were awarded as the Educational Program of the Year by the Minority Chamber of Commerce of USA.

Our staff members are selected through carefully handled interviews in where we meet with the potential staff member and get to know them as an individual. Our qualifications for members differ depending on the job positions. Supervisors, Counselors, and Volunteers each have their own list of qualifications they must fulfill. In order to be part of our camp, all our staff goes through National recognized certifications, second-degree background checks and a very comprehensive training.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have the only Life Skills Training in USA especially created for children 5 to 14 years old. We offer leadership and public speaking training to the group of age of 12 to 14 and the volunteers that work at the camp.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): As a part of our Unique Life Skills Training Camp Program, on weekly basis, we send parents information for them to continue reinforcing at home the information we offer to the children at the camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a 50' round pen to start off beginners, a medium and a large enclosed arena with barrels and jumps for more advanced riding. In the large stableyard, we have lot's of cross ties so that all horses are crosstied to be groomed and tacked. There are several mounting blocks/steps to make it easier to get on the horses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We usually have pre-vet and animal science students from UF and provide training for volunteers. We like to maintain a high counsellor-to-camper ratio.

Our instructor is the program director and the farm owner/manager is support staff and volunteer coordinator.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): On Friday, family is invited to a "horse show," in which campers show friends and family the skills they've learned. It will include a mounted relay race, an obstacle/agility challenge and perhaps surprise presentations.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We offer riding lessons throughout the year and (for more advanced riders) a partial lease program in which the rider pays by the month for a certain number of rides per week (arena or trail).

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 27 holes of golf along with a full practice range, including a short game area as well as a large practice putting green.

We employ a list of PGA and LPGA instructors along with Certified Instructors. We limit our camps to a 6:1 student to instructor ratio. Junior golfers will not only learn about the game of golf, but also hone their golf skills for our advanced players. We also incorporated games that help to develop their golf skills as well. We include 20 hours of instruction, 5 Days a week.

The Junior Golf Foundation of America's mission is to provide all children the opportunity to learn and play the game of golf. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 3 concrete barns, and one wood barn with walk out stalls attached. During the winter season our farm is home to 80 horses. During the off months of the summer, we still have around 65 horses. Our facility has 3 private riding arenas, and lots of grassy paddocks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Delray Equestrian Center camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and a beautiful 24 acre facility. In the DEC atmosphere campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. Campers will be expanding their knowledge and interests in show western pleasure or English hunter/jumper/equitation, or just for pleasure riding. Camp is also about taking care of the horses, learning about them, getting to know them, and communicating with them.

Our horse camp features horses ranging from experienced A circuit show horses, to seasoned beginner ponies, and the wonderful patient beginner horse.

Our equestrian staff is qualified to teach riders of all ages ranging from 2 to older adults, and of all experiences. Young beginners play mounted games and get to learn all about their favorite horses, while others may learn to post, jog, lope, canter, trail or jump. More advanced riders will be able to jump through hunter or jumper courses.

Delray Equestrian Center started in 2009. Our facility has been around for over 30 years. We have many resident clients who have been here for as many as 15 years including the managers and head groomsman. At one time this farm was home to Thoroughbred racing horses. They would even swim the horses up and down the lake for exercise.

Riding programs are offered all throughout the year. Special programs are set in place for the individual whether they are the weekend rider or the serious competitor. Our students show from the A rated local shows, to some away shows in various places like Kentucky at the State Horse Park or the Carolinas to Saugerties New York for Marshall Sterling Finals, to the smaller beginner local circuits. They leave plenty of time for play for destination trail rides, BBQs, farm shows, and clinics.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in a fully furnished and comfortable lodge which has been upgraded for wheelchair accessibility, with separate accommodations in the same building for male and female campers. Staff remains onsite throughout the camp. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier overlooks the river, and a wheelchair accessible golf cart is available to transport campers to and from activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are a equestrian center, with two barns, a horseback riding arena, camp lounge, and plenty of shade. We have access to Pinellas Parks local horseback riding trails.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our staff are all highly trained equine professionals, who will be teaching campers about looking after and riding horses. the program includes daily horse back riding lessons, hands on horse activities such as carriage rides, equine yoga, trail rides, as well as hours of fun horse related arts, games and demonstrations. For the 2014 season, we are offering the following Soccer Camps:

Morning Training:

CAMP FACILITIES: Contained within a 116-acre plot of land, the 6,701-yard, par-70 course is short by golf standards today. However, a $4 million renovation project in 2001 by Jacksonville-based architect Bobby Weed transformed the contour of the landscape, creating a course that is both physically and mentally challenging.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Gator Golf Camp offers an array of daytime activities that include playing golf and instruction, while the evenings offer a variety of entertaining and informative seminars, including a closer look at the mental side of golf. Aspects such as visualization, self-talk, tension, anxiety, and self-doubt will be discussed. We also make time to do some fun activities which may include a trip to the movies, swimming, bowling, or an athletic event.

An interesting feature of the Gator Golf Camp is our Player/Coaches Panel. This is a forum where we will discuss all aspects of collegiate golf. Areas covered will include academic requirements and tournaments.

Gator Golf Camp brings together a great staff of golf coaches, PGA professionals, and University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf.

* Camp Director, Mark Leon is the Assistant Coach of the Florida Gators Men's Golf Team. Mark is in his 3rd season at Florida coming from his alma mater Penn State.

*Associate Head Women's Golf Coach, Janice Olivencia is in her 8th year at the University of Florida. She is a two time All-American and has spent time on both the LPGA Futures Tour and European Tour. Janice was a member of the Puerto Rico National Golf Team and is fluent in Spanish and English.

In addition to the more technical aspects of the game, the Gator Golf Camp will also extensively cover proper practice routines, tournament preparation, course management, rules, mental training techniques, nutrition and equipment.

We have brought together a great staff of golf coaches, PGA professionals, and current University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf. In addition to play and golf instruction, campers participate in intramurals, movies, and other recreational activities. The camp concludes with a camp championship to test the campers’ learning experience. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: HADRACHA
Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

MADRICH
Counselor In Training- CIT
Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. Please contact Lene Saeger, x271, to schedule an interview. CIT staff requirement: 8 weeks preferred. Consideration will be given to 4-week applicants on an availability basis.

This Summer Camp Cardinal has the opportunity of creating a mural project titled “New Beginnings” in honor of the community, new friendships, and family, Camp Cardinal seeks to build in the making. The mural project is strictly for the campers of Camp Cardinal 2017.”We would like our campers to join in the creation of a cultural arts project that will undoubtedly leave an everlasting impression within the community”.

Every camper that has a desire to be creative will have input towards completing our mural this summer of 2017.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITS: Counselors in Training, Assist head counselors with day to day activities, is a camper but a CIT first.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Cardinal Parent’s Association (CPA)
Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

5. Last but not least, Willing to have fun!

Rules and Regulations
1. A C.P.A member will act as a head counselor to his/her assigned group.

2. A C.P.A member cannot be a head counselor over his/her child’s group.

3. A C.P.A member must Chaperon various field trips and activities
such as (Late nights).

Agreement
1. Regarding your child’s itinerary you are required to commit
to a certain number of hours per session.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Road Less Traveled as an organization was founded by Jim and Donna Stein in 1991, and has been successfully running safe, exciting, life-changing trips for teens ever since. Both Jim and Donna are still the current directors, and are integrally involved in every single aspect of the company. In the summer, they are on call 24/7, available both to parents as well as to our leaders in the field.

We are an ACA accredited organization with an impeccable track record. We believe in the process of accreditation. It allows us to compare our standards to other professionals in the industry. Our accreditation allows us to follow specific standards related to leader screening including use of application forms, reference checks, personal interviews, work history review, and background checks.

Many years ago, we were the first company serving young adults to require that all leaders have a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) medical certification. WFR training is far more advanced than standard first aid or wilderness first aid. In addition to this certification, we carry extensive first aid kits on all of our programs that include antibiotics and epinephrine. Contents, protocols, and standing orders are reviewed and updated every year by our Medical Director who is an MD.

Since our inception, RLT has been on the cutting edge of technological advances in communication. We began carrying Iridium satellite phones on all of our programs as soon as they were available. Today we continue to carry the latest in emergency communication systems. According to geographic location, programs are equipped with satellite phones, ground-to-air radios, and/or cellular phones providing the possibility of 24-hour access to medical help in case of emergency.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Trip Leader/Co-Leader

Travel domestically and/or internationally with a group of high-school and/or middle-school students, monitoring and facilitating community service, language/cultural immersion, and/or wilderness adventure trips

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a degree. Equivalent experience working with teenagers in related field will be considered if not currently enrolled in school
• Experience Previous program leader experience working with and or teaching young people age ranging in age between 12-19. Knowledge of and experience with group dynamics, teaching or facilitating groups, supervision of meal planning, food preparation and cooking, managing logistics. Ability to teach program specific skills, environmental awareness, and related scientific, cultural, and historical knowledge pertaining to the regions through which you will travel and their relationship to each other.
• Strong Physical Condition
• Current CPR for the professional rescuer
• Current Wilderness First Responder, WEMT or EMT certification
• Current Red Cross lifeguard or Swiftwater rescue certifications preferred but not mandatory
• Current unrestricted valid drivers license with no major convictions during the previous three year period; driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, hit and run, homicide or assault with a motor vehicle, drag racing, operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, license suspended or revoked within the previous three year period for accidents and or moving violations. Driving record should reflect no more than three moving violations and/or chargeable accidents during the previous three years

• For Adventure Programs: Knowledge of three or more wilderness travel methods. Whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, international trekking, biking, backpacking, technical rock or ice climbing and mountaineering. Mandatory requirements for adventure trips include: the ability to lead groups of students on backpacking trips of three to eight days, ability to comfortably lead through remote wilderness areas. This includes, but is not limited to, backpacking preparations, backcountry travel, route finding, campsite selection, equipment maintenance, Leave No Trace camping techniques in desert and alpine terrain and proper protocol in dense bear country.

All leaders must possess the ability to make prudent decisions in adverse conditions. International Service Learning and Language Immersion Programs: Leaders and must be highly proficient or fluent in the spoken language of the program country (Spanish, etc.) and have extensive experience with community service, international travel, managing multiple responsibilities abroad, experience and/or living abroad, cultural immersion. Knowledge of the following is helpful but not mandatory: Sea Kayaking, Whitewater Rafting, Trekking, Surfing, and Snorkeling

• International Service learning and Language Exposure Programs: Leaders to have extensive experience with community service, international travel, managing multiple responsibilities abroad, experience and/or living abroad, cultural immersion. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Illahaw’s “Cow-Town” Look. Camp Illahaw sports the theme of “Old Florida”. Our Mess Hall, Bathhouse, Counselor Cabin, and Recreation Room are the beginning of Main Street. Boys and Girls Dorm

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. At Camp Illahaw, not only do we concentrate on camper activities but also their social interactions under the guidance of camp directors and counselors assuring a safe and fun experience for everyone. The CIT Program seeks to teach young people about responsibility, authority, and hard work that will prepare them to be counselors and leaders in the future, or to prepare them for college life. Being a camp counselor is a great summer job for college students. Our CIT program is a great way for young adults to gain the necessary experience and qualities needed to secure a job. Many camps look for past camp experience or CIT program experience. We prefer our CIT’s be past Camp Illahaw campers but it isn’t required.

You will also earn 50 community hours per week!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Nageela offers campers ages 5-13 an extraordinary 6-week experience of fun and character growth. Camp Nageela is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and exciting camp program that integrates Jewish values and traditions into daily camp life.

The Camp Nageela experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming. Arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, baseball soccer, track & field, and superb field trips are some of the regular activities to go along with those "special days" sprinkled throughout the summer.
