BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: SUMMER AT THE BEACH. For more than 90 years, CCSC has played host to campers from throughout the country and the world. Directly on Cape Cod Bay and operated by the same family since 1922, CCSC is recognized as one of the top sailing camps in the USA. CCSC boasts one of the finest sailing programs with fleets of 28 Cape Cod Mercury’s, 16 Sunfish and 10 Club 420s. Also, exceptional programs in many other activities including Archery, Riflery, Tennis, Arts, Land Sports, Drama, Woodworking, Swimming and more.

CAMP LOCATION: Cape Cod Sea Camps are located directly on Cape Cod Bay in Brewster MA. We offer 70 acres with 1000 feet of beachfront as well as a 70 acre outpost camp on nearby Long Pond.

CAMP FACILITIES: Cape Cod Sea Camps has comfortable screened cabins with electricity in all. We offer swimming in our new heated pool. We also have a modern Arts Center for creative arts, a new Boathouse to host our sailing programs as well as an outdoor theater for camp performances. Our 16 target Archery Range and Athletic Fields are enjoyed by campers daily. We also enjoy the benefits of an outpost camp on nearby Long Pond.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Cape Cod Sea Camps is a traditional, general activities camp where campers create their own schedules on a weekly basis. While sailing is one of our top offerings, our other major activities are equal in strength and offer a well rounded experience for the non-sailors. Our programs are Educational, Safety Oriented and Fun. Activities such as Sailing, Tennis, Archery, Riflery, Swimming, Waterskiing and Windsurfing include teaching progressions that result in awards when achieving certain goals.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Teen Leadership Program is nationally recognized and serves campers through the high school years. This program is generally filled by returning campers and can only be entered at age 14.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Cape Cod Sea Camps is available for lease during the spring and fall. Many schools use our facilities to augment their classroom studies, or as a base for their Cape Cod field trips.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: During the school year we pick up from Woburn Elementary Schools and transport the children to the After School Club where they stay until 5:45p.m.

During Christmas, February and April vacations we are open full days from 7:45a.m. - 5:45p.m.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: ACA Accredited Nobles Day Camp adheres to the philosophy of our founders Grandin Wise and George K. Bird, who established the camp in 1948. We provide a safe and supportive environment for our campers to enjoy recreation in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Our campers learn to take positive risks and respect the rights of others while developing positive self-esteem and building long-lasting friendships.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Although we would like to help as many children attend Nobles Day Camp as possible, we have limited funds for camper assistance. We do offer a sliding scale fee for the following 2 week blocks: Week 1 & 2 and/ or Week 7 & 8. Youth will meet online in real time to develop video projects, show their work, and give and receive feedback. Projects include a 30-second commercial and a 10-minute short film, documentary, or stop action.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The World Sports Camp mission is to create a safe and positive sports environment, where children from around the world, ages 8 through 16, can interact while improving their athletic skills. (Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf) This is accomplished through positive reinforcement coaching, with skill level training, from high level, skilled coaches and counselors. World Sports Camp allows for campers to choose which sports and to what degree they will be involved.

By empowering campers to make their own choices, we feel that their involvement will be more enthusiastic and they will have a greater desire to participate. Attention is given to treating all campers equally, with value and understanding given to the beginners as well as the advanced athlete.

World Sports Camp draws campers from 86 countries, all over the world. Approximately 35% of our campers hail from outside the United States and 65% are American. The opportunity to exchange cultural differences and participate in sports and other activities with peers from around the world is second to none.

Camp life and off campus activities are an integral part of the World Sports Camp experience. Developing new national and international friendships through sports and other camp activities, improves the quality of life for all involved. Fairness, quality sportsmanship and enforcement of rules and regulations are emphasized both on and off the playing field.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T.'s (Camper In Training) This is a true leadership program at World Sports Camp. These campers must be 16 years of age and all but one period of each day, they will follow the normal camp schedule. During that one period, the CIT’s will shadow a coach to learn about the different coaching techniques. By the end of their stay at World Sports Camp, each CIT camper will develop a lesson for an entire period and will teach their lesson to the campers, as if they were the Head Coach!! They will have the help of the other coaches, but this will allow the CIT's to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.

As well, we have a dedicated CIT counselor who will evaluate each CIT at the end of each week to let each CIT know what they have done well and what needs improvement. In addition, because of their dedication and hard work we take all of the CIT's on a CIT trip. We allow the CIT’s to decide what this will be. For example, this past year, we went to mini-golf, laser tag, a movie and dinner off the campus as their trip of choice.

Computer room for campers to connect with familyDorms : The dorms are very comfortable. Wall-to-wall carpet, rooms with lots of space for all of your clothing and equipment. Each lounge has a television, refrigerator and microwave accessible to the campers.95% of the rooms have 2 children per room, 2% have 3 children per room, 1% have 4 children per room and 2% are single occupancy rooms (typically for our oldest campers)CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The World Sports Camp mission is to create a safe and positive sports environment, where children from around the world, ages 8 through 16, can interact while improving their athletic skills. (Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf) This is accomplished through positive reinforcement coaching, with skill level training, from high level, skilled coaches and counselors. World Sports Camp allows for campers to choose which sports and to what degree they will be involved. By empowering campers to make their own choices, we feel that their involvement will be more enthusiastic and they will have a greater desire to participate. Attention is given to treating all campers equally, with value and understanding given to the beginners as well as the advanced athlete. World Sports Camp draws campers from 86 countries, all over the world. Approximately 35% of our campers hail from outside the United States and 65% are American. The opportunity to exchange cultural differences and participate in sports and other activities with peers from around the world is second to none. Camp life and off campus activities are an integral part of the World Sports Camp experience. Developing new national and international friendships through sports and other camp activities, improves the quality of life for all involved. Fairness, quality sportsmanship and enforcement of rules and regulations are emphasized both on and off the playing field.CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T.'s (Camper In Training) This is a true leadership program at World Sports Camp. These campers must be 16 years of age and all but one period of each day, they will follow the normal camp schedule. During that one period, the CIT’s will shadow a coach to learn about the different coaching techniques.
